Green Bean Casserole With Fried Onions
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 cups of green beans, ends trimmed and long ones cut in half
- 1 can chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (4-ounce) package white mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (6-ounce) Nawabi Life Premium Crispy Fried Onions
INSTRUCTIONS:
- 1. Place green beans and chicken broth in a medium saucepan. Add just enough water to cover green beans. Bring to a boil and simmer 10-12 minutes. Drain.
- 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
- 3. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add mushrooms and cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- 4. In a large bowl, mix together mushrooms, green beans, condensed mushroom soup, milk, cheddar, 1/2 cup of the Nawabi Life Premium Crispy Fried Onions, and soy sauce, and pepper.
- 5. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish, Top with remaining onions.
- 6. Place in oven for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown.
Authentic Hyderabad Biryani
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Kg meat
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp red chilli paste
- 1 tbsp green chilli paste (sauteed brown onions to taste)
- 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
- 3-4 Cinnamon sticks
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 4 Cloves
- A pinch of mace to taste mint leaves
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 250 gms curd
- 4 tbsp clarified butter
- 750 gms semi cooked rice
- 1 tsp saffron
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup oil
GARNISH INGREDIENTS:
- Nawabi Life Premium Crispy Fried Onions
- Eggs, boiled
- Carrots, sliced
- Cucumbers
INSTRUCTIONS:
- 1. Clean the meat. Now in a pan add meat, salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, green chilli paste, sauteed brown onions, cardamom powder, cinnamon, cumin seeds, cloves, mace, mint leaves and lemon juice.
- 2. Mix all of these ingredients thoroughly together.
- 3. Add curd, clarified butter, semi cooked rice, saffron, water and oil. Mix it well.
- 4. Now apply sticky dough on the sides of the pan.
- 5. Cover with lid to seal it and cook for about 25 minutes.
- 6. Hyderabadi Biryani is ready to eat. Garnish it with boiled eggs, sliced carrots, cucumbers and serve hot.
Ultimate Beef Burger with Fried Onions
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 large white Vidalia onion (not yellow!)
- 1 clove fresh garlic
- Worchestershire sauce
- 1 pound ground beef (85/15% preferred)
- Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:
- 1. Dice the large white onion
- 2. Mince a clove of fresh garlic. If you’re someone who likes serious punch, add in an additional clove
- 3. Mix in 1 cup of onion and all of the garlic.
- 4. Add in one serious splash of Worcestershire sauce. (Don’t hold the bottle after the splash to pour in additional sauce. The taste will take over the burgers.)
- 5. Add in some salt and pepper for taste.
- 6. Mix again well.
- 7. Divide your burger meat into 3rds or quarters.
- 8. Sprinkle Nawabi Life Premium Crispy Fried Onions for toppings
Cauliflower Rice with Fried Onions and Sumac
INGREDIENTS:
- Sumac (generous amount for seasoning, optional)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- Half a cup of Nawabi Life Premium Crispy Fried Onions
- 24 ounces cauliflower rice (frozen)
- Salt
- Fresh ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
- 1. Heat the olive oil for 10minutes, break the frozen cauliflower apart inside the bag. (Or if you prefer fresh cauliflower, follow steps below the recipe to make the fresh cauliflower into "rice".)
- 2. Add the cauliflower and the other tablespoon olive oil, season generously with salt and fresh ground black pepper, and turn heat to high.
- 3. Let cauliflower cook, turning often, until liquid has cooked off, and it’s lightly browned and cooked to your liking, probably about 8-9 minutes.
- 4. Sprinkle cauliflower generously with Sumac and Nawabi Life Premium Crispy Fried Onions and serve hot.
